1) The Thesis
We don't just watch oil markets. We become them.
$CRUDE is built on a simple observation:
Energy markets move liquidity. Liquidity moves narratives. Narratives move crypto.
Oil is not "just a commodity." It's a global risk dial, a sanctions amplifier, a supply-chain stress test, and a real-time barometer of geopolitical tension. When oil shifts regimes, crypto often follows—sometimes instantly, sometimes with a lag, sometimes in weird correlation breaks that only show up when you look at both systems together.
So we built an agent that treats oil headlines, supply shocks, and liquidity conditions like on-chain signals—then maps them into crypto market structure to identify anomalies humans miss.
2) What $CRUDE Is
2.1 AI Oil + Crypto Agent
$CRUDE scans global oil markets—wars, supply shocks, liquidity flows—and correlates them with crypto structure to surface anomalies and signals others can't see.
The public site already reflects this direction with metrics such as events processed, anomalies detected, and consensus confidence—designed to feel like a "signal terminal," not a meme landing page.
2.2 A Culture
We're a group of oil traders and quant-brained degener—professionals—who got tired of pretending macro and crypto are separate universes. Same fear, same leverage, same reflexivity… different instruments.
$CRUDE is the banner for that culture:
- Energy-first macro awareness
- Signal discipline over hype
- XRPL-native execution
- Token gated intelligence
3) The NFT Collection
3.1 Genesis Set
- 333 NFTs
- 80+ traits
- Built for identity, access, and long-term progression.
3.2 What NFTs Unlock
The end-state is simple: the site becomes holders-only.
Public mode = teaser dashboard.
Holder mode = full terminal, deeper feeds, private drops, and internal tools.
Planned holder utilities:
- Token-gated CRUDE Terminal (advanced dashboards, anomaly map, regime shifts)
- Private signal releases (scheduled + event-driven)
- Early access to new features (alpha tools, strategy sandboxes)
- Governance over product direction (what gets built next, what gets prioritized)
- Future expansions (special editions, collaborator drops, "desk badges")
4) The Token
4.1 Token Standard
$CRUDE is issued on XRPL as a trustline token, meaning holders opt-in via trustlines and can trade on XRPL's built-in DEX and supporting venues.
4.2 Supply + On-Site Display
The current public site displays:
- Total supply: 999.71M
- Dev holdings: 99.97M (10%)
- Tax: 0%
- Contract: "Renounced / Immutable"
5) Genesis Distribution to NFT Holders
5.1 Holder Allocation Pool
- 10,000,000 $CRUDE reserved for Genesis NFT holders
- Intended as 10% of the supply (per project specification)
5.2 Distribution Schedule (Mint-Out Based)
At mint-out, we take a snapshot of eligible wallets and distribute in two tranches:
Tranche A: 5% of supply to NFT holders
Timing: Immediately after mint-out snapshot
Amount: 5,000,000 $CRUDE
Tranche B: 5% of supply to NFT holders
Timing: 3 days after mint-out
Amount: 5,000,000 $CRUDE
Total to holders: 10,000,000 $CRUDE
5.3 Per-NFT Math (Transparent + Auditable)
Baseline estimate: 10,000,000 / 333 ≈ 30,030.03 CRUDE per NFT
Final distribution uses an on-ledger friendly rounding policy (published before execution) to ensure totals match exactly.
6) Utility: What $CRUDE Does
$CRUDE is built to be useful inside the product, not just tradable outside it.
6.1 Terminal Access + Feature Unlocks
- Pay to unlock premium modules (extended anomaly map, alerts, regime detector)
- Access "Midnight Prediction" expansions and historical backtests (where available)
6.2 Signal Economy
- CRUDE can be used to prioritize alerts, vote on tracked regions/feeds, and unlock special event-driven briefings.
- Community can fund "signal bounties" (ex: "Track this corridor / refine this model / add this data layer").
6.3 Future: The Desk Tools
We aim to ship practical tools for the holders:
- Risk mode dashboard enhancements (vol + liquidity derived)
- Oil→crypto correlation regimes and narrative heatmaps
- Research drops that explain the "why," not just "number go up"
7) Product Architecture (High Level)
7.1 Data → Signal Pipeline
- Event ingestion (headlines + macro + oil market state)
- Feature extraction (shock type, region impact, supply chain relevance)
- Crypto structure mapping (liquidity, volatility regime, risk mode)
- Anomaly detection (breaks in expected correlation, regime shifts)
- Signal output (dashboard + alerts + narrative briefs)
7.2 Token-Gating Plan (When Site Goes Private)
- User connects an XRPL wallet
- System verifies NFT ownership on XRPL
- Access switches to holder-only experience
8) Roadmap
Phase 0 — Genesis
- 333 NFTs minted
- Snapshot + Tranche A distribution
- Terminal baseline modules live (public teaser + holder mode foundation)
Phase 1 — Holder Terminal
- Site shifts toward holders-only
- Full anomaly map + alerts
- Strategy notes + structured "signal briefs"
Phase 2 — Expansion
- Advanced modules (regime detection, correlation break alerts)
- CRUDE-powered feature unlocks
- Governance experiments (community direction votes)
Phase 3 — The Oil Desk on XRPL
- Mature terminal experience
- Integrations with XRPL-native venues and ecosystems
- A culture-driven research engine that can survive market seasons
9) Governance
Governance starts lightweight and becomes more formal as the community proves signal discipline.
- NFT holders: direction + product priorities
- Token holders: feature unlock weighting, bounty routing, community experiments
- Emergency controls: limited, publicly documented, and progressively minimized
10) Risk Disclosure (Read This Like a Pro)
Crypto assets are volatile. Signals can be wrong. Models can drift. Data sources can fail. Markets can stay irrational longer than everyone's ego can stay funded.
XRPL tokens are issued assets that depend on issuer configuration and operational integrity. XRPL documentation also notes regulatory considerations around token distribution models and "ICOs."
Nothing here is financial advice. The terminal is an intelligence product, not a promise.
11) Closing Statement
$CRUDE is for the people who understand that oil is a liquidity engine and crypto is a liquidity mirror. The edge lives in the overlap.
We're building the oil-to-crypto signal desk on XRPL—one anomaly at a time.
